How to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior:   Everyone will have an eternal existence somewhere. This is a reality for all people. When your life ends on earth, you will either spend eternity in a place the Bible refers to as heaven, or you will spend eternity in a place the Bible refers to as hell. God’s desire is that everyone spend eternity with Him in heaven. If you desire to have assurance that you will spend eternity in heaven with God one day, we encourage you to consider what the Bible tells us we must do to be saved and go to heaven.

  1. Recognize you are a sinner and can’t save yourself.

   – God tells us in Romans 3:23- “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of  God”. We are all sinners in need of a Savior. – God also gives us the consequences of our sin. He tells us in Romans 6:23-       “For the wages of sin is death”.

  1. Know that God loves you and has provided a way for you to be saved and go to

heaven.    – God tells us in Romans 5:8- “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in  that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. God loves you, and sent  His Son, Jesus, into the world to pay the penalty for our sin. Jesus paid for our sins when He died on the cross for us. – Only in Jesus Christ is there forgiveness, salvation, and a way to heaven. Jesus said in John 14:6- “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus said, He is the only way to the Father; who is God in heaven.

  1. To be saved, you must repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
– God tells us in Romans 10:9- “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. In order to be saved and go to heaven, you must repent of your sins and place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

If you would like to Receive Jesus Christ today, here is a simple prayer to help you talk to God. Dear Jesus. I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe you died on the cross for my sin and have risen from the dead. I repent of my sin and trust in you as my Savior and Lord. Forgive me. Come into my heart and be my Savior and Lord. Thank you for hearing me and saving me today. In Jesus name. Amen.”   If you just prayed to trust in Jesus as your Savior, and you truly let go in your heart and gave your life to Him, God tells us in His Word, you are saved: “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”, Romans 10:13.
